Ionis

Ionis, officially the Free State of Ionis, separated from the Caspian Empire shortly after the Pacification of Drathe failed. This separation triggered the separations of Thasia and Levantia over similar issues. After its separation from Caspia, Ionis began establishing fortresses along its border with Drathe. These fortresses allowed Ionis to defend itself against further incursion into its territory by roving Drathe raiders. Ionis is now one of the major trade and cultural centers in the Asydic Sea.
